French course La Châtaigneraie - Thursday 13h30-14h45 - Level A2

Based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR),  A2 level is Pre-intermediate:

Listening and Speaking Skills: you are able to express opinions and feelings and to make simple requests in a familiar context or about a work situation. 
Writing Skills: you are able to fill in most forms, to request information in a comprehensive manner and to write a short letter (invitation, thanks…).

Course content:
Consolidation and enrichment of the basics of French. In this course, you will learn to communicate simply so that you can talk about your living conditions (training, work, hobbies etc.).

An initial assessment will define the level and the needs of each participant in order to create homogeneous groups. The assessment includes a written test and a one-on-one discussion.

Participant's progress is regularly monitored in class. At the end of the course, the participant will be provided with a certificate mentioning the dates of attendance and the level achieved in the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Courses Dates 2020-2021:
1h15 per week from beginning of November to beginning of June.

IMPORTANT: Please read the General Terms and Conditions for the language courses and note the following main information:

A group course given throughout the school year is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants. The maximum in a group is 8 participants.  However, it is possible to open a course with fewer than 4 participants (“private course or small group”). In this case, the duration of the courses is determined according to the criteria below:

1 participant: 6 lessons
2 participants: 12 lessons
3 participants: 18 lessons
