French course LGB - Monday 15h30-16h45 - Level A1
A1 level means that you have an elementary knowledge of French (false beginner).
Listening and Speaking Skills: you are able to express opinions and feelings and to make simple requests in a familiar context or about a work situation.
Writing Skills: you are able to fill in most forms, to request information in a comprehensive manner and to write a short letter (invitation, thanks…).

Consolidation and enrichment of the basics of French. In this course, you will learn to communicate simply so that you can talk about your living conditions (training, work, hobbies etc.).
An initial assessment will define the level and the needs of each participant in order to create homogeneous groups. The assessment includes a written test and a one-on-one discussion.
Participant's progress is regularly monitored in class. At the end of the course, the participant will be provided with a certificate mentioning the dates of attendance and the level achieved in the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), as described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

A group course given throughout the school year is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants. The maximum in a group is 8 participants. However, it is possible to open a course with fewer than 4 participants (“private course or small group”). In this case, the duration of the courses is determined according to the criteria below:
