Student Mental Health: Awareness, Support, and Effective Intervention
Rue Marie-Thérèse, 7
Centre Sportif

Course Overview
Student mental health directly shapes learning, relationships and long-term wellbeing. Educators and caregivers are often the first to notice when something isn’t right but knowing what to look for and what to do next can feel overwhelming.
This course explores common challenges such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and non-suicidal self-harm in students aged 10+. Grounded in current research and incorporating elements of Mental Health First Aid, realistic strategies will be proposed. Participants will learn how to show up as a trusted adult, respond appropriately in crisis situations, and help foster a healthy learning environment.
Recommended for teachers, parents and those working with young people.
