The Coalition to Honour All Learning Conference
Representing over 100 000 students in national, independent and international systems
The "Coalition to Honour All Learning" is a federation of schools across the world representing more than 100 000 students in national, independent and international systems that aims to influence the discussion on school leaving certificates to recognise the whole person.
The Coalition met to continue its work on the way we are celebrating and curating student competences, ensuring that it reflects context and offers a richer narrative than grades alone.
The conference toook place at La Grande Boissière International School of Geneva on Saturday, the 22nd of March. Teachers, researchers and actors in the education field were welcome to participate, exchange and contribute to the common efforts towards a more holistic learning and recognition of learning through reforming of end school certificates.
Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Eric Hamilton, Jan and Robert Davidson Endowed Professor of Education and Technology at the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology, took the stage as one of the key speakers for the event
Panel Members:
Panel Members included Dr. Conrad Hughes, Director General of the International School of Geneva; Dr. Paul Magnuson, Founder of the educational research program at the Leysin American School in Switzerland and international education teacher at Moreland University; Teresa Tung, Secondary School Principal at Hong Kong Academy; and Svein Østveit, Acting Director General of UNESCO-IBE.
